Red Magnetic Polish

HeLLo everyone! The other day I got this magnetic polish from Born Pretty Nail Art Store. And I'm so exciting about all magnetic nail polishes right now, it's my new obsession lately :) It's very unique type of nail polishes and they look absolutely creative without any extra nail designing.

How To Apply Magnetic Nail Polish:

1. Apply base coat as always and wait 'till it completely dry.

2. Apply first layer of magnetic polish on all 10 fingers and again wait 'till it completely dry.

3. Apply second coat on one finger and immediately place special magnet over nail. It needs to work on one nail at a time. Hold special magnet for about 5-15 seconds. The longer keep magnets over nail the more visible effects.

4. Do all the rest of fingers the same way. Wait untill everything completely dry and then apply top coat.

This is beautiful coppery red 15ml nail polish. Shimmery looking finish. Also wearable by itslef without any magnetic effects. And here is one coat of this polish pre-magnet. The formula of this nail polish is quite opaque and thick but it still applies smooth and even. The brush is usual no any "protruding hair" just normal for easy use brush. It smells a bit funky but not very strong at all and didn't bother me at all.

This magnetic polishes, I mean all of them, dries a bit longer than normal nail polishes because of the thick consistency. And before apply any top coat make sure it's completely dry otherwise it will ruin the magnetic effect. To remove the nail polish use regular nail polish remover, it's not hard to take off.

This nail polish comes together with separate special magnet in one set. I've got "diagonal lines" magnet which is my favourite magnetic effect of all time. Because I found this came out the best on my natural long nails. The magnet is strong enough, I really do like it. I also have tried to use this magnet for other brand magnetic nail polishes and it works as great!

The Nail Art store also provided special coupon code for 10% OFF for MyMakeUpMania's readers :)

"Playboy Bunny" Nails

HeLLo everyone! This last minute manicure I'm wearing right now. Don't have enough time for anything because next week I have "safety norms" and then driving test. There's still a lot to learn and I'm only half done with the disc but I do my best to study more.

Recently I'm completely into magnetic nail polishes! It's so unique type of nail polish and what I like more about it is look great by itself. So, for this manicure I made design on magnetic polish background. And I thought Playboy logo would be great combined with BK magic nail polish in #008. I'll be post about my new magnetic polishes which I bought recently very soon ;)

How To Get "Playboy Bunny" Nails:

1. Apply base coat as usual and magnetic polish.

2. Stick Playboy stencils and with a piece of sponge gently apply creme black nail polish.

3. Add black rhinestones and seal everything with clear top coat.

Playboy Bunny":

Here is another stencils I got from KKCenterHK and seems like I found better way to use them. From my experience, I realized that using regular sponge works much better instead of apply stright with a nail polish brush. Also when I peel off I try to unstick from the side and it helps to not damage the delicate areas. So, this time I got more perfect images :)

Thanx for looking and have a great weekend everyone!

"Star Island" Nails

HeLLo everyone! This is pre-made nail art. I did this design last week and I liked it so much for very bling-bling effect.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

How To Get "Star Island" Nails:

1. Apply base coat as always. And then apply basic creme black nail polish. Mine is quite opaque so I applied only one layer.

2. Apply glittery nail polish on top to create the main sparkly effect.

3. Sponge foil gold nail polish of nail free edges.

4. Add some black hexagons and seal everything with clear top coat.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Here is the black hexagons I used. Love, Love, Love them so much! Just in love with this type of glitters. They are so practical, beautiful and it's filled to the brim product in the jar. They will last me more than forever!

Dry Marbling Nails

As much as I like colorful nails I like busy designs :) And today I have very busy nail art design which is super easy to do at the same time. I did dry marbling technique and I used an ordinary sewing needle, 2 tones of nail polishes and 2 types of glitters.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

How To Get Dry Marbling Nails:

1. Apply base coat as always. And quite thick coat of purple nail polish.

2. On non dry purple polish apply 3 diagonal dots of pink or use whatever color combo U like.

3. And again, when it's not dry marble those dots as U like by using needle. I suggest to use a needle because it works the best compared to other tools like toothpic, water marbling tool etc.

4. Apply clear polish on nail tips and sprinkle purple glitters on.

5. Add some rhombus glitters and clear rhinestones.

6. Seal everything with clear top coat.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I also changed my pedicure and used the same rhombus glitters again. I just applied lavender nail polish and sticked the glitters on top.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Here is the "clou" I used for my toes and nails. Such lovely glitters. I love this type of glitters because they looks so beautiful and more like 3D but feels completely flat on the nails. Also it's great size to use on real/natural nails.

Have U tried dry marbling technique for ur manicures? How do U like it?

2D Mickey Mouse Nails

The other day I made this rainbow pattern on my nails to try out Mickey Mouse printing mode stickers. I found that having more brighter and colorful nail art designs make me feel much more happily. How about U? Does it for U?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

How To Get Mickey Mouse Nails:

1. Apply base coat and one layer of creme white nail polish.

2. Take a sponge corresponding to the length of ur nail and apply red, yellow, green, blue and violet nail polishes at a time. Sponge that rainbow pattern all over the nail, I sponged it 2 times, so the colors pop out brighter.

3. Apply glittery nail polish on top. I used Best Sence nail polish #74.

4. On completely dry surface stick Mickey Mouse stencils and with black nail polish paint inside the stickers.

5. Add some rhinestones for more fun look and seal everything with good layer of clear top coat.

Best Sence #74.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Here is the printing stickers I used for this manicure. The reason why I have only one Mickey Mouse head on my nails is because it was 1 successful attempt of the 5. My poor thumb was experimental surface this time LOL~ The stickers sticking to nails very good, they are quite thin and impression that there can't be false image and when peel it off, thin pieces stay in place and they just break away from the main part. I really don't want to give up and try to find a new way of using. Because I really like all this designs (I have more of them: pirate skull and play boy bunny), they are so exciting!

How I Use The Stencils:

1. Prepare main background pattern/solid nail polish and wait 'till it completely dry.

2. Take any nail polish of choice and paint inside the stickers.

3. Wait just a few seconds so nail polish get slightly dry and then peel off the stickers.

4. Seal the design with layer of top coat.

Glow In The Dark Nail Polish

HeLLo everyone! Today I have very exciting stuff which is also glowing in the dark. It's EBALAY nail polish. I applied it on top of 2 coats of pearl white nail polish. And it looks like very bright neon green color. I really do like this type of shades because all the time when look at them I smile and it improves my mood :)

Ebalay Grass Green #009 glow in the dark polish. The web-site says it has to be used as a layer on top of any background color because it's translucent. The consistency of this product is too thick it reminds me of Konad special polishes which aren't for normal nail polish uses, those are for stamping. I've tried to apply the thinnest coat as possible and it isn't glowing in the dark. And when I applied one normal/usual layer it glowing. But the problem is it's almost impossible to completely dry because of the thick consistency. The positive sign is it glows when it's dark no need black or blue light and at any low light the effect stop working LOL~ But nevertheless my camera can't catch the glowing nails :( sorry! Because of that I took picture from KKCenterHK to show how it really works. And it really glowing as it shows on the picture below.

So far, I can't use this product on my nails because it doesn't dry out completely for a very long time and I don't have much patience.

"White Rabbit" Nails

For this weekend I have very simple yet fresh looking nails. The main creme white background color is The Face Shop Lovely Me:ex collection nail polish in WH002. I applied 2 coats. And added stickers on top, yep, those are stickers.

Also I got a few requests from my russian speaking buddies to write on russian as well, and I hope it will not bother all of U ;) Hope on ur understanding :)

The Face Shop Lovely Me:ex WH002 и приклеила сверху наклейки.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Here is X & D nail stickers. As I understand they are for shorter nails. This should be sticked on the whole plane of the nail and not like I did. I find that width of the stickers isn't wide enough for my nails. Also they are very-very fragile. When unstick stickers from the sheet it needs to be more than just careful because it crumbles in any careless movement. And for me it was very difficult to stick them on. Manicure in general looks not perfect, but I think I'll survive this weekend with these nails LOL~

Spring Floral Nail Design

It's raining since yesterday but the spring weather feels anyways! And my today's manicure was totally inspired by SPRING :) I used pastel pink and blue nail polishes and glow in the dark 3D nail stickers. I really do like the glowing stickers but both of my kids hate them because they are afraid of lighting in the dark images/nails ;) My lil' boy don't want hold my hand before going sleep anymore >_<

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

It looks a bit yellow in the area above nail tips but it wasn't very noticeable IRL. Yes, my nails are yellow but it don't bother me at all!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

How To Get Spring Floral Nail Design:

1. Apply base coat and make a french tips by sponging light pink and baby blue nail polishes at once.

2. Apply clear based glittery nail polish.

3. Stick some floral stickers and rhinestones.

4. Seal everything with clear top coat.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Here is the flower stickers I used. They are really pretty but the glue on them is a bit weak. So I suggest to apply them on not completely dry nail polish and seal them with a thick layer of top coat.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

To get this nail polish look I started of with black background color which is by The Face Shop from Face & it collection in BK901. It's already have a lot of fine purple, blue and green glitters to it. And I applied 2 coats of the Chunky Holo Black on top. It dries faster with layer of fast dry top coat.

Purple Water Marbling Nails

Here is another attempt on water marbling. Well, I can't say it's my nails of the day because I didn't wear them but experimented with sprinkling some mixed glitters on top. I wasn't sure about the final result and wanted to ask to U. What do U think about this design with sprinkled glitters?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

To get this water marbling design I used 4 different nail polishes in light green, pink, baby blue and purple.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Here is the mixed glitters I used. It's light purple hexagons mixed with fine glitters.

"Glamorous Animal Print" Nails

OMG! The other day I saw TV as usual and there was a show and episode about skin care and the speaker said that all skin care samples are not suitable for use. Because Korea doesn't make them and all the samples come from China! Now, I don't want to say that everything from China is unuseable but this skin care samples! They warn about the dangers of using, cause of acne and skin diseases. I had like 2 make-up bags full of samples and I throw out everything at once with no regrets. And if it happened that U got skin care samples from me just get rid of them right now! I'm really sorry but I didn't know about this before!

Today I had completely day off, both my boys went to the school and I played with nail polish like crazy LOL~ I changed 3 nail designs and all of them was soooo adorable I will show it within a few days :) And here is my NOTD and it's an animal print design which I found make looks my nails much shorter, hmmm... And finally found that way when I like french mani on my nails.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

How To Get "Glam Animal Print" Nails:

1. Apply base coat and 2 layers of silver holo polish.

2. With black acrylic paint and small detailed brush draw thick stripe in the middle of nail plate.

3. With white nail art polish do zebra stripes or whatever animal print it is.

4. Outline the black part with silver hexagons and stick black rhinestone onto the moon area.

5. Seal everything with clear top coat.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Here is silver hexagons I used for this nail design. And I have the same glitters but from Born Pretty store click [HERE] for comparison. It's huge difference in price but this N.Nail glitters are better quality because surface of each glitter is smooth and shine unlike cheap where is every single glitter into some kind of  strips.

PLEASE READ: Let's Clear Things Out, Q & A

HeLLo everyone! First of all I want to say thanQ for following my blog through E-mail. Recently I added new gadget to the right side bar and blog statistics shows that quite a lot of people use it. ThanQ very much for reading my blog :) Also I have Facebook account where I share more personal pictures 'n stuff, please feel free to add me as a friend and I'll be happy to chat with U too :)

I received few messages through my Yahoo e-mail and Facebook message system where people asking me about all last sponsored blog-posts and real thoughts on products. I replayed to every single message but I also want to make an update here so everyone can know the "truth" and not think bad things about my personality.

Q: Do you affiliate to KKCenterHK.com?

A: NO! I'm only affiliate to KIM brushes site and BornPretty store but I swear since I was added to the affiliate program I never opened that account again. I don't earn any money through my blog, I swear!

Q: How do you get companies send you free products?

A: Honestly, I do nothing. I just have long nails and often updating my blog. I never contacted any companies and never asked for free products. And if I really want something I'll buy it on my own money.

Q: How you can enjoy everything *** company sent you?

A: Simple! Because mostly I'm sposored by KKCenterHK and BornPretty store and on this web-sites fortunately I have chance to pick up products for review by myself. And obviously every time I get products which I'm interested in or really wanted to try out. Believe me I don't replay on a lot of other offers like reviewing hair care products, wigs, hair extensions, fake eye lashes and all sorts of stuff. So, please don't think that all my reviews and blog posts are fake! They are all asolutely honest and if I don't like something I directly say it!

Q: You're often change manicures, how it possible with a small child?

A: Ok, yes! I'm changing my nails almost every day recently, because of the sponsored reviews. Also my baby is not that small, he's almost 2 LOL~ and he already goes to the kindergarden since the beginning of this month. Now I have more free time for myself and I really like changing my nails daily. Hope it's not bothering anyone.

So, please please please don't think that I got paid for all positive reviews, I really am not that person who will lie for money! I do not earn money on my blog, it's my hobby and I enjoy sharing all my nail experience.

Anyways, I already posted this picture on my Facebook account for 365 days challenge and gonna share it here as well. I bought a new ring for my thumb finger :) It's gold because this metal suits better for my skin tone. I've tried a lot of other rings made from platinum, white gold, with different stones 'n such but this was initially nice :) modest, and neat :)

Thats it I think, if I forgot anything feel free to ask below...

Thanx for reading and happy polishing everyone!

LASER OPTICS BEAUTY

What a busy day today. I almost forgot to update my blog :P This is pre-made blog-post BTW and I'm gonna representing another KKCenterHK's product which is Beauty One Day False nail glue. This glue comes with brush and will not hurt real nails. This product may maintain approximately one day. But I dodn't use false nails I just wanted to try this glue for nail foils. I bought a bunch of different nail foils some time ago and I wanted to try something other than glue which come together with the order. So my choice was precisely on this Beauty glue because it  doesn't harm the natural nails.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

It's very easy to use. First of all it needs to apply close to the nail foil background color. For non-ideal application less noticeable all sorts of defects. I really suggest to apply a very-very thin coat of the glue because it's quite thick consistency. And it has an ability to stretch like a rubber band when apply to much product.

Apply the glue by usual movements like any nail polish. Righ after application it looks white in color.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

After about 3-5 minutes it completely dries and acquires transparent but sticky. Only after it completely dries it ready for nail foil application, otherwise, it will not work.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Cut 10 pieces of nail foil (I used "Laser Optics" foil which is this adorable purple shade) and stick them to the nail muddy/yellow side down. Unstick very carefully. I suggest to apply any clear nail polish instead of top coat because it tends to crumple interaction with quick dry top coat.

To remove use basic nail polish remover, and it will easily come off...

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Overall: I don't happy with the final result at all. Seems like it too thick for the nail foils but stamping or any other design on top of this foil application can save the world :P

My BEAUTY experiment isn't very successful >_<

Happy polishing everyone!

Pre-Cut Flower Water Decals

HeLLo everyone! I just came home with no feeling of my feet LOL~ I walked in high heels for about an hour and dying of tired, didn't wear them for very long time :P

Today I want to share not nails of the day but the design I was wear last week. Because I'm a bit crazy to criticize myself I found that the nail edges was not pretty enough and I filed them to more squoval shape. And of course I had to remove this manicure...

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

It's X & D pre-cute slide full water decals with flower images. They looks very fresh and spring-ish. And I really like them! I like absolutely all water decals in the world hahaha~

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Each set contains 10 decals, as usual.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

This time I applied pearl white background color because the width of the decals slightly narrow than my natural nails. Also the application looks a bit crumpled because my natural nails are curved. FYI all full image water decals looks crumpled on my nails.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Thats it for today! Thanx for visit and haPPy polishing everyone :)

Have U tried any full water decals?

Best Sence Glitters

HeLLo everyone! HaPPy White Day to all who celebrate this date today :D Basically it's "Valentine's Day" for women here in Korea. And all girls get some gifts from loved ones :) I already got a bunch of chocolate from my boys and gonna absorb a ton of calories LOL~

I changed my nails again. Btw, I have more free time now because my little Heum started his baby-school too :) And I can have more "ME" procedures like painting nails and make-uping when go-out. Anyways, for today I have this crazy turquoise glittery manicure which looks soooo adorable and I'm in love with this color cmbo.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I want to do the main accent on Best Sence Glitter nail polish in #74. Because of this polish I got such glittery and eye-catching manicure. It's basically transparent nail polish with small silver-blue-ish hexagon and dot glitters to it. I applied one thick coat and it was enough to get this look. This nail polish has a little bit funky smell but not too strong and it dries in normal time. For the main background color I used Aritaum Nail Polish in Crazy Green #54. If someone interested how the Crazy Green looks by itself click [HERE] to see.

The picture below was took in shade...

This color combination was totally inspired by Bunny Nail's blog post because I'm absolutely fall in love with that Color Club Untamed Luxury nail polish.

Thats it for today :) HaPPy polishing everyone :)
